Combating mental illness, substance use disorder, and homelessness by offering healthy and positive alternatives for our community.

Quality behavioral health (mental health and substance use disorder) and intellectual/developmental disability prevention and treatment services for all people of McHenry County, Illinois.

Works to reduce stigma and prevent substance use disorder among individuals, families, and communities, and minimize the overall health, legal and social harms associated with substance use.

Provide a broad network of much-needed services for those in recovery, and address substance abuse and addiction through advocacy, treatment, and continued support. Each of these areas is overseen by a director on NDARS’s Board of Directors.
