Peace and Love – Paul’s Dead

Paul’s Dead is born out of a love for a friend who gave us the love of the music we are playing for you today. The Grateful Dead. Paul always said they were the greatest American band and they are.

Paul loved this music and so do we, and we want to share with you the humanity that can be found here, with lyrics about life and music that just plays. Paul wasn’t just a deadhead, he was a punk rocker, he had the heart of an activist and even more importantly, he was a son, a father, a brother, a soulmate.

Sadly, Paul’s vibrant life often gets overshadowed by his untimely passing due to an accidental overdose. He wasn’t just a statistic; he was a genuine, hilarious, and caring soul who felt the world deeply.

In this context, remember that Paul was a human being, made in the image of his creator, deserving dignity and respect. The music resonates with his vibrant life. To combat stigma and aid the less fortunate, we must change our hearts, transcending egos. Recent years have seen darkness replace compassion and community, replaced by tribalism and disdain for differences. Let go of categorizing people; they’re humans, not just political affiliations. Tonight, shed preconceptions of respect, ignoring divisive news that only seeks to profit off your suffering. Show compassion, reflecting the dignity you seek. Remember those suffering in your community, offering love.

When you change yourself you change the world. Now get up Dance, and live, you only have today, tomorrow is not guaranteed.

Oho what I want to know is are you kind?

Peace and Love – Paul’s Dead
